Bob dropped by the office this week and happened to mention he'll be
leading this book discussion at Pages next Tuesday. For those who haven't
yet seen the book, it's superb - Hightower's one of the best voices the
Greens have, and there's already a movement afoot to get him to run for
Texas governor as a Green in 2002. And Bob says not to worry if you don't
have a chance to read the book by Tuesday - the session is shaping up to be
a freewheeling discussion of election themes ranging from utter corruption
of the big parties to our chance to make something better out of the
political system.
