Robert McChesney's talk Monday night (10/30) will be in the main lounge of
Allen Hall, 1005 Gregory Drive, Urbana. Music by Paul Kotheimer starts at
7, and McChesney's talk begins at 7:30.

BTW, here are praises for McChesney's most recent work, _It's the Media,
Stupid!_ (2000, with John Nichols) from some pretty good people, culled
from his website (www.robertmcchesney.com):

>"John Nichols and Bob McChesney are right to argue that for our
>democracy to be renewed, issues of media ownership, monopoly and
>diversity must be on the agenda. Media cannot merely reflect the narrow
>corporate interests of a handful of powerful media moguls. For
>democracy to function, media must reflect the diversity of views, viewers
>and values of the whole society." - Congressman Jesse L. Jackson, Jr.
