Hey there!  Thanks to everyone for helping out with the table today.  Early
showers only delayed our efforts, but we were out there strong, even
with the fun Grito de Lares festivities amidst us.  Remember that
our next meeting will be on Tuesday at 6pm at the McKinley Foundation
(5th and John/Daniel) at the teach-in for IMF/WB.  It'll be great fun,
so bring some friends.

Also spread the word about this bus ride.  Flyering would be a good idea.
We have about a week to sell tickets... A lot of people seem interested,
so it'll be great fun... Nader, Phil Donahue, *and* Jim Hightower!

Leave the driving to us!
The Students for Nader are sponsoring a bus to the October 10th super
rally for Ralph Nader for president in Chicago.  We have reserved a
47-passenger luxury bus for this special event.  It is also possible for

us to choose and watch a video during this trip.

Pick up:
This magical mystery bus will leave October 10th, at University parking
lot E-14 at 4:30pm. (Corner of First and Kirby)

University Parking has graciously granted parking violation immunity for

those who follow these easy instructions:
1. Park at the southeast corner of lot E-14.  It is located at the
intersection of First and Kirby.
2. Print these words:  “Students for Nader” On an index card, or sheet
of paper.
3. Place the card on the driver’s side dash of your vehicle, facing up,
so that a parking enforcement officer can read it.

The rally ends at 11:00, Everyone will be on the bus by 11:30, and back
to their cars around 1:30.

Cost:
$30.00 suggested donation per person, includes admission to the rally.

Want to go?
Tickets will be sold by the Students for Nader during tabling each
Friday and Wednesday On the Quad at the south side of the Union between
10am - 3pm.
Last day of sales will be Friday, September 29th, at 3:00pm.

Other times/places to get your ticket to ride:
Tuesday September 26th  at the IMF-WTO teach-ins and protests from
5-6:30 at the McKinley Foundation, 5th and Daniel.
